A Note From the Club

Wow, what an exciting summer it has been! Not only have we navigated a challenging time, but the kids have had an amazing summer filled with exciting activities, games, and field trips thanks to our hardworking, amazing staff! It is refreshing to know that we have board members and donors committed to seeing the lives of the kids we serve every day changed for the better.

Just a few days ago, a seven year-old Club member ran up and said to me "This is the best place ever! I'd rather be here than stay home!" This is the kind of impact that the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills has. We will continue to do what we do each day, changing the lives of one child at a time.

Meet Jrue!

Jrue is seven years old and will be going into 2nd grade this fall! His favorite thing to do at the Club is play rogue ball. When he grows up, Jrue wants to work at the Boys & Girls Club!
Meet our Staff

Mrs. Danielle

Mrs. Danielle has been with the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills since May of 2018, working as our STEM & Workforce Development Coordinator. She recently accepted the role of Unit Director at our new Logan-Blake Unit in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Danielle's favorite thing about working at the Club is having an opportunity to get to know our Club members. Learning about them, she says, helps her know how to better serve them while they are at the Club.
Whatever it takes...
Summer camp is in full swing and lots of fun is being had! Club members are participating in Summer Brain Gain, a summer learning loss prevention program; taking fun field trips; getting outside before the heat of the day; and partnering with another great local organization, Habitat for Humanity of the Sandhills, to build a couple of great-looking
picnic tables.

Great Futures Start Here!
As summer beings to wind down, we are getting ready for our Fall After-School Programs. After-School registration is OPEN!  Click here to learn more and register your child or children for our after-school program today.
