CEO Corner

We have a busy Fall planned for our Club members and families and for our community.  We would love to see our kids and families at the events the program team has worked so hard to plan.  We would also love to see our kids, families, or friends of the Club volunteering at our upcoming Moore Trivia event.  To volunteer, CLICK HERE.

Remember every dollar raised goes to support our Club youth and to keep our Club as the most affordable option for youth in Moore County so volunteer support goes a long way!

Meet Taylor!

Taylor is a member in our Logan-Blake Unit. She had an idea of starting her own business. She created therapeutic water vases filled with different materials for different moods. She was able to market them and sell them to friends and family. She aspires to be a business owner one day. We are so proud of you, Taylor!

Meet our Staff

Welcome, Mr. Larry!

Larry Smith is our new Marketing & Special Events Coordinator! He joined us back in August. Larry has an extensive background in radio with Beasley Broadcast Group and Muirfield Broadcasting. We are thrilled to have him as part of our Boys & Girls Club family! You will continue to see his talents on our social media and beyond.

Sponsor A Child, Change a Life!
School bells are ringing again and we are eager to continue the learning, support, and fun that took place during summer camp as kids return to school. Many of our Club families need financial assistance to cover the cost of Club membership. YOUR gift of $1,179.97 (or $98/month) sponsors ONE child for the entire school year and summer. With this help, members gain access to:

  • Academic Support - At the Club, kids receive homework help and tutoring to put them on the path to excellence in the classroom and beyond!
  • Healthy Meals - Oftentimes, the meals kids receive at the Club - dinner during the school year; breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the summer - are the only hot meals they have all day.
  • Encouragement, Sense of Purpose - Club kids receive the nurturing and support that so many desperately need. Our trained youth development professionals offer educational assistance, formative guidance, and leadership skills necessary for kids to reach their full potential as productive, caring members of our community.

You can help change a life by Sponsoring A Child! Monthly options are available, too!

We have 164 Club kids who still need to be sponsored this year! Please consider Sponsoring A Child TODAY!

What's Happening at The Club

Special thanks to the Southern Pines Fire Department and the Southern Pines Police Department for joining us for our Annual September 11 Remembrance Ceremony.  None of our young people were around to experience 9/11, but they had a chance to learn and pay their respects.

Some of our Club members participated in our 2nd Annual Cradle Golf Tournament. They had a BLAST! We appreciate all the players, sponsors and supporters who joined us on The Cradle on September 12th for a fun-filled evening!
We are getting closer to the grand opening of the Logan-Blake Unit! Crews have been hard at work transforming the space, both inside and out, to meet the needs of our Club members. We are pretty sure that the space pictured above will be very popular with our members once transformed into a basketball court and outdoor recreation space!

Thanks to our Community
Thank you to all who participated in Light Up National & Light Up Moore County last weekend, including our ILLUMINATOR SPONSOR: Cooper Ford! Special thanks to Megan Rouse and Jeff Harris for spear-heading another incredible Light Up National event. Together, we raised nearly $20,000 to provide homework help to our Club members each day after school. THANK YOU!
Upcoming Events

There's STILL time to join us for Moore Trivia next Friday, October 15th. Gather 7 of your smartest friends and register. The winning team earns bragging rights and a sweet trophy to display for the year!

As an added bonus, you will be helping us raise funds to provide children and teens with Club programs and services during out-of-school time: a healthy meal, homework help, programs like Money Matters (promotes financial responsibility among our teen members), and much more.
Thank You 2020-2021 Corporate Sponsors
