Beyond the Blue Door: Check out all the fun we had in May!

There has been a lot of activity at the Trinity Unit as the school year comes to an end! Our members visited rest homes in April, delivering Easter cards with artwork they created. We celebrated mothers in May, with an entertaining picnic with our moms! The picnic had something fun for everyone: the Chi-Chi slide, games, and photos with the moms & their children.

Now it's time to finish out the school year with a few of our Club dads. I know you guys didn’t think we would forget to hang with the coolest fathers around. The Trinity Unit is hosting a "Kickin' It with my DAD" social. It will be an evening of games, music, and laughs for Club kids & their dads (or uncles, coaches, etc.) at the Club!

Meet Miss D

Darilyn Ruotolo has served as our Mentor Program Coordinator for over a year now. Recently, her role has expanded as she's been promoted to our Office & Volunteer Resources Manager.
She loves working with the kids. Darilyn's favorite part of her day is when she is greeted as "Miss D", when our Club kids arrive. She looks forward to expanding our volunteer pool across all 3 units. When she's not making an impact on our young people, Darilyn loves hiking. One of her favorite trails is at Morrow Mountain State Park.

Academic Support - At the Club, kids receive homework help and tutoring to put them on the path to excellence in the classroom and beyond!
Healthy Meals - Oftentimes, the meals kids receive at the Club - dinner during the school year; breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the summer - are the only hot meals they have all day.
Encouragement, Sense of Purpose - Club kids receive the nurturing and support that so many desperately need. Our trained youth development professionals offer educational assistance, formative guidance, and leadership skills necessary for kids to reach their full potential as productive, caring members of our community.
