CEO Corner

Dear Parents, Guardians, Club supporters, and Friends:

We are busy at work making plans for the safe and phased reopening of our after school programming for our members for the new school year with our operations team, safety committee, medical professionals, and guidance from the Health Department.  The differing schedules of the Moore County School District and Public Charter schools we serve poses several challenges that we are working through to ensure safe staff to member ratio during our first phase 2 of operations.  Most critically, we will need to know the in-person instructional days of each member to be able to do so adequately.  Please bear with us as we, along with all of you, await these assignments from the schools so that we can open our limited registration for phase 2 operations and determine the first day we can open based on the timing of this information.  We are just as anxious as you all to see our members fill our Clubs.  Speaking of Clubs, we are also considering temporary plans to accommodate our Aberdeen Unit which has been closed due to the old Aberdeen Elementary School closure.  This temporary location will be announced when registration opens

Whatever it takes...

Thank YOU to Everything Pines Partners
Everything Pines Partners heard about our need for an additional means of transportation for donations and other goods, especially meals over the last several months. Carolyn Hallett, a member of the executive team at Everything Pines Partners, was alerted to the need and took it to the rest of the team. Traci Cortes, Director of Operations for Everything Pines, was able to locate a box truck that fit our need perfectly. "This new truck means we can serve more meals and it also frees up our mini-bus to transport more kids," said Fallon Brewington, CEO. We are so grateful for the continued partnership with Everything Pines Partners. Be sure to keep an eye out for the truck around town!
